Sixth International Automotive Engineering Conference (IAEC) will be held this year in which the latest technologies and developments regarding the automotive engineering will be discussed in detail. The organization is getting ready to host important names along with local and foreign engineers, all are experts in their fields, and it will be held online this year on 11-12 November 2021. Within the scope of the organization, various topics from autonomous vehicles to digital manufacturing technologies, from alternative fuel technologies to the latest situation of the regulations across the world will be discussed in detail.
An esteemed University Rector in Turkey and the world, current Chair of Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC) and the Member of the Board of Directors of European Society for Engineering Education (SEFI) Prof. Dr. Şirin Tekinay, in addition to her contributions in the academic field, will assume the chairmanship of the Conference, a position that academicians who have carried out important studies in their fields assume each year.
The transformation in the automotive eco-system in recent years has further accelerated the change in the fields of vehicle and manufacturing technologies as well. As the most important topics of the world's automotive agenda such as autonomous vehicles and digital manufacturing technologies stand, the share of significant topics such as electrification and alternative fuel technologies regarding the sustainable policies that must be followed in the field of climate is also increasing day by day. In this context, IAEC which brings local and international experts in their fields each year in Turkey, is getting ready to focus on the main agenda of the world's automotive industry.
The conference will last two days!
Sixth IAEC will be held online by video conference on 11-12 November 2021, this year. The organization, which is held by Automotive Industry Exporters' Association (OİB), Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD), Automotive Technology Platform (OTEP), and Automotive Suppliers Association of Turkey (TAYSAD) in collaboration with SAE International (formerly known as Society of Automotive Engineers) will host numerous experts in their fields from Turkey and the world.
Prof. Dr. Şirin Tekinay, an esteemed woman university rector of Turkey with her studies following her contributions in the academic field, who is the current Chair of GEDC and Member of the Board of Directors of SEFI will assume the chairmanship of the Conference.
This year in IACE 2021, under the technology title the issues of "Autonomous Vehicles", "Digital Manufacturing Technologies", and "Qualified Workforce"; and as for the climate title, "Electrification (LV)", "Alternative Fuel Technologies (HV)", and "Circular Economy" will be discussed.
