IAEC was held for the 10th time this year at the Mustafa Kemal Amphitheatre on Istanbul Technical University's Maçka Campus. The event, organized by the Automotive Industry Exporters' Association (OİB), the Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD), the Automotive Technology Platform (OTEP), and the Automotive Supply Manufacturers Association (TAYSAD), in collaboration with the American Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE International), featured the theme "Advanced Vehicle Technologies."

The conference was attended by automotive industry representatives, academics, engineers, and university students. Conference Chair Prof. Dr. Özgen Akalın delivered the opening remarks, stating that this year's theme encompassed artificial intelligence and autonomy, alternative propulsion systems, and advanced material technologies.
As part of IAEC 2025, presentations were made on topics such as the transformation process in the automotive sector and digitalization in industry, alternative fuel systems, and sustainability. Among the conference's keynote speakers was Prof. Dr. Ali Erdemir, Head of the Halliburton Engineering Department at Texas A&M University, who presented his work in energy efficiency and tribology. Timur Topalgökçeli, Founder of Hello Tomorrow Turkey, also commented on the impact of energy conversion and deep technology on engineering processes.
The first session of the conference was titled "Artificial Intelligence and Autonomy." Moderated by Prof. Dr. Ece Güran Schmidt from Middle East Technical University, the session featured presentations on autonomous driving and data-driven engineering processes.
The "Alternative Fuel and Propulsion Systems" session addressed energy and propulsion technologies focused on sustainable mobility. The "Advanced Materials Technologies" session evaluated current developments in materials science, manufacturing technologies, and digital transformation.
