In line with its mission to strengthen the global presence of Türkiye’s automotive supply industry, the Automotive Suppliers Association of Türkiye (TAYSAD) has successfully completed its Sectoral Trade Delegation program to Anhui Province, China — one of the fastest-growing automotive hubs in the world.
Between April 14–17, the TAYSAD delegation engaged in an intensive schedule of meetings and visits across the cities of Hefei and Wuhu. Throughout the program, direct talks were held with leading global automotive manufacturers, opening the door to new business cooperation and investment opportunities for TAYSAD members.
The delegation first visited JAC Automobile and Anhui Ankai Automobile, where they had the opportunity to examine the production facilities on-site. In subsequent meetings with officials from the Anhui Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, the investment environment and potential trade partnerships in the region were thoroughly discussed.
In the second part of the program, the delegation visited the production facilities of NIO, gaining valuable insights into the region’s technological infrastructure and innovative manufacturing models.
TAYSAD also held meetings with municipal authorities from Hefei and Wuhu to better understand local government approaches to collaboration with investors. Additionally, a visit to Hefei University of Technology served as a key contact point for potential academic collaborations in the region.
In the final stage of the program, the delegation conducted meetings at the Anhui Economic and Technological Development Zone. Here, they engaged in direct discussions with senior executives and procurement teams from Chery, evaluating opportunities for mutual cooperation.
As part of the cultural program, the delegation also visited the historic Lord Bao Temple, one of China’s significant heritage sites.
TAYSAD remains committed to expanding the global network of Türkiye’s automotive supply industry. The new connections and potential partnerships established during the China program aim to further enhance the international reach and influence of our sector.
