TAYSAD Holds Important Meetings with the Republic of Türkiye – Ministry of Trade on the Future of the Sector!

The Automotive Suppliers Association of Türkiye (TAYSAD) held a visit with Deputy Minister of Trade Ö. Volkan Ağar to discuss critical topics shaping the future of the automotive supply industry.

The meeting included evaluations on Türkiye's position within the Made in Europe approach, the sector's adaptation to Europe’s transformation, and strengthening the Turkish supply industry's role in global competition. Representing the Republic of Türkiye – Ministry of Trade, Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya, Director General of Exports, and Mehmet Elbir, Department Head of the General Directorate of Exports, also attended the meeting.

The TAYSAD delegation consisted of Yakup Birinci, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Bülent Yazıcı, Accounting Member of the Board; Ömer Orkun Düztaş and Kazım Eryılmaz, Board Members; and Sevgi Özçelik, Secretary General.

The delegation continued its contacts with a visit to Mehmet Azgın, Director General of Imports. This meeting addressed the impact of dumping and antidumping procedures on the automotive supply industry and the risks encountered by members during these processes.

TAYSAD maintains its strong cooperation with public institutions as part of its efforts to support Türkiye’s automotive supply industry in adapting to Europe’s transformation and advancing to a stronger position in global competition.
