TAYSAD Strengthened the Global Visibility of the Turkish Automotive Supply Industry at Automechanika Shanghai
Representing Türkiye’s automotive supply industry on the international stage, TAYSAD significantly enhanced sectoral visibility by participating in Automechanika Shanghai—recognized as the world’s largest aftermarket fair. This year’s event hosted 7,465 exhibitors from 44 countries, standing out as one of the most extensive global gatherings in the automotive ecosystem. Türkiye’s participation showed a noteworthy increase compared to the previous year, rising from 39 to 49 companies. A total of 9 TAYSAD member companies showcased their products and technologies to international buyers.
The TAYSAD booth attracted strong interest from high-level diplomatic and sectoral representatives. Visits by Özlem Kural, Consul General of Türkiye in China; Kadriye Yaprak Taşar, Commercial Attaché; Leon Kalma, Board Member of OİB; and representatives of the Investment Office of the Presidency of Türkiye highlighted the country’s strategic position in the region and the growing capabilities of its supply industry.
Throughout the fair, TAYSAD held numerous meetings with both its members and potential business partners, taking important steps to expand its cooperation network. These engagements showcased Türkiye’s production capabilities, R&D strength, and competitive advantages to international participants. The meetings contributed both to strengthening existing business relations and creating a foundation for new commercial connections.
For TAYSAD, Automechanika Shanghai served not only as a promotional platform but also as a strategic point of contact that reinforces the global positioning of the Turkish automotive supply industry. The event directly supported the sector’s export potential, brand recognition, and international business network, further enhancing Türkiye’s competitiveness within the automotive ecosystem.
